Spotted! Yogi Cameron is a Pontificating Diet Extremist!

9 Feb

Alert! Yogi Cameron is a Pontificating Diet Extremist (PDE)! Just look at his picture….who wouldn’t want to look like this former model at age 44?  Now you can too if only you buy his book, follow a Ayurvedic Diet tailored to your specific energy “chakra,” go vegetarian, eat loads of ghee (clarified butter), and become a Guru Ghandi-esque figure along the way!

For those who read my blog post yesterday you’ll remember that people generally fall into one of three categories in relationship to their nutrition and health, one being the Pontificating Diet Extremists, or PDE. Just to recap:

  • They’re shameless, self-promoters whose interests to serve others are a veil to serve themselves
  • They’re expectations for others to follow their chosen diet is highly unrealistic + impractical
  • They fail to see that many of their tips and beliefs are scientifically unfounded and not applicable to the general population
  • They view other diets and people who follow them as long-lost alien species with nothing to offer

The New York Times did an article today on Yogi Cameron that I just could not help but reading. The author writes in a straight forward, yet tongue-in-cheek way where his skepticism of Yogi Cameron is completely +utterly apparent.

What do you think? Is Yogi Cameron a PDE or is he the embodiment of the Balanced and Practical approach that others can emulate?

Always going for glory!

Great blog, I can say one thing, I do yoga, other things for overall strength so I don’t mean this in an unkind way but don’t his arms look pretty skinny? Doesn’t necessarily mean anything, I do crow/crane poses and it builds up the arms. Nice blog.

I do yoga, I like the Crane/Crow pose which I think builds up the arms, Yogi C. is pretty cool but I’m just being honest, his arms are pretty thin and he probably does a lot more yoga than me.

Yogi’s arms look great. They are not skinny at all. His arms are very defined and look very strong.
